NEWLY DEVELOPED TEMPLE COMPLEX

Funded with assistance from the Lottery Fund, this Asian Temple wedding complex was still under construction when we visited for photography and video of Raghu and Faye's Hindu Gujarati wedding in March of 2005.

Directions and Travel Routes (from the official site)

Coming by Car

 

•

North London 2 hrs

•

South London 2½ hrs.

•

Liverpool 1½ hrs

•

Manchester 2 hrs

 

From North, East and South of England

•

Follow M6 to Junc.8 then get on to M5

•

Exit M5 at Junc.2, take 2nd exit at the roundabout and approach the bigger roundabout.

•

At this roundabout take the 3rd major exit into Wolverhampton Road A4123 towards Dudley.

•

Drive straight; then just before the 3rd traffic lights (pedestrian crossing), after the BP station on the right hand side, turn right into Lower City road, signed 'Tividale Community Recreation Centre'.

•

At T-junction turn right into Dudley Road East, A457.

•

Take a left turn about 100 metres after the small hump-back bridge, enter into the Temple complex.

 

From West of England and London - M40

•

Take the M40 then M42 West and join the M5 heading north.

•

Exit M5 at Junc.2, take 2nd exit at the roundabout and approach the bigger roundabout.

 

Coming by Bus

 

Take Number 87 from New Street in Birmingham City Centre. ask for the bus stop near lower city road.

This stops almost opposite the Temple site on Dudley Road East

Coming by Train

 

Central and Virgin trains from London and Birmingham call regularly at Sandwell & Dudley railway station, a little over 1 mile from the Temple.
